Shad Harris has toured nationally and internationally since 1966 and played drums, keyboards, guitar and bass with various award winning bands and hall-of-fame artists including Etta James, Charlie Musselwhite, Eddie Harris, The Motown Review Big Band, Roger Daltry, Johnny Heartsman, Johnny Nitro, the Tommy Castro Band, and more. Playing originals and blues covers, they have their own dynamic signature sound.
Lodi Arts Foundation’s final 2026 Art and Music Salon will take place in the lush courtyard of Lodi’s Sayla Music Academy. The evening’s music will feature GeorgeTowne, a popular Lodi-based Americana-style band (country folkrock). Renowned for its original songs, soaring harmonies, and many nostalgic covers of artists including Bob Dylan, Vince Gill, Eagles, John Prine, Darius Rucker, Chris Isaak, Kenny Rogers, Poco, and more, GeorgeTowne was voted Best of Lodi — Live Entertainment by readers of the Lodi Sentinel in both 2024 and 2025. The six-member GeorgeTowne band is led by George Gibson — guitarist, songwriter, and lead vocalist.
Local artists Geneva Mello and Leila Valencia will have many of their impressive pieces on display and available for attendees to purchase. The Salon will include a no-host bar offering a range of drink options and a silent auction to help support LAF’s goals to grow and celebrate the arts in our Lodi community.
Tickets are $25 (plus fees). All proceeds go towards local arts scholarships, community programming, and to support the growth of Arts & Culture in Lodi.
