Lodi Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with the Lodi Arts Commission & City of Lodi to advocate for the arts & artists in Lodi. Our goal is to create opportunities for local artists and art-lovers to engage and experience the transformative impact of the arts in our city.

  • The Lodi Art Hop is a quarterly celebration of the Arts & Artists in Downtown Lodi presented by the Lodi Arts Foundation in partnership with the Lodi Arts Commission and the City of Lodi.

    The Art Hop is a positive, inclusive space for the community to engage with art-making, support local artists, and experience art in community. Join us to bask in the glow of our local Arts community with an outdoor gallery at Veterans Park (April/June/October) & Idol Beer Works (August) featuring 10+ Artists, live music, free face painting, art-making opportunities for all ages & more! Hop to nearby exhibits at Double Dip Gallery, Ruby’s Bakery, and the Lodi Community Art Center.

  • Join us monthly for a community Lodi Arts meeting! These community meetings are an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the arts to come together, share ideas, and contribute to the creative spirit of Lodi!

    We believe community-wide participation is vital to shaping the future of Arts & Culture in Lodi and hope to see you there! Come collaborate and get involved in preserving & growing the impact of the Arts in Lodi. 🤘 All are welcome!

  • Traffic Control Box Call-to-Artists

    The City of Lodi is currently accepting proposals for original artwork to be displayed on several Traffic Control Boxes throughout Lodi.

    Open to all practicing professional and emerging artists and design teams residing in Lodi and surrounding areas.

    The City of Lodi, with input from the Lodi Arts Commission (LAC), will select original artwork to be displayed on several traffic control boxes throughout Lodi. The Arts Commission will determine the specific location for each piece of artwork.

    SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Open until all boxes have been assigned an artist.

  • Financial support is offered each year to promising art and/or cultural organizations with well-planned, short-term projects that serve the cultural interest of the Lodi community. Two (2) types of grants are available for funding:

    Project Grant - $1,001 and above

    Mini-grant - $1,000 and below

    Groups/organizations/individuals may apply for a Project Grant and a Mini-grant in the same fiscal year (July-June). An ad-hoc grant committee, comprised of Lodi Arts Commissioners, review and score each application. Approved grantees are then recommended to City Council.

    Applications for the 2024-2025 year will be accepted until Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 5:00P.M. For questions, please contact Tamatha Litfin, (209) 333-6842.

  • The Lodi Open Studios Tour returns this fall for a free, self-guided weekend of art, conversation, and creative discovery. On Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18 from 11am-4pm, local artists will open their studios and workspaces to the public, giving visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the artistic process.
