19th Amendment Mural Painting

The painting of the mural to commemorate Women’s Suffrage — beginning with the 19th Amendment and continuing with the Voting Rights Act of 1965 — has begun! The location is the rose-colored, curved wall between the WOW Museum and the parking garage on Sacramento Street, close to our famous Lodi Arch. Would you like to paint a small part of the mural?

Artist Tony Segale will supervise painters who want to help with the mural on Saturday, April 9. To sign up, please email 19thamendmentmural@gmail.com and leave your name to reserve your time. There will only be 72 slots available. To help pay for liability insurance and a small dedication event, we ask for $20 for 20 minutes of painting. Instructions on where to send a check to confirm your time will be emailed back to you.
