April 15th Artist Booking Form

Here are the details:

The theme for the April 15th Art Hop is World Art Day. We encourage artists to bring work that can be tied into the theme if possible.

The Art Hop will include 12 artists showing/selling work, a kid’s art gallery, interactive art for all ages, performances, and exhibits at Double Dip Gallery, Ruby’s Bakery, the Lodi Library, and the Lodi Community Art Center. During the Art Hop, three local artists will be painting storm drains in Downtown Lodi, a project of the Lodi Arts Commission. We're gonna have a very fun-filled day of community art and can't wait to experience it with you.

Information for Participating Artists:

- Each artist showing (& selling) work at the Art Hop will receive $75 as compensation for contributing (with the exception of performers/musicians who will receive $200 for two 30 minute performances at 10:45a and 12:30p).

- There are 4 tent spaces and 8 stations available for table/easels. Artists are responsible for bringing their own tent, tables, chairs, easels, and anything necessary for your station. Please state your preference in your response to this email and we will try to accommodate everyone!

- Call time for Artists on the day of the event (Saturday, April 15th) is 9:15am (unless otherwise noted in communications). The Art Hop is from 10a-2p. Artists are required to participate in the entire event.

- An LAF volunteer will be available to cover your station so that you can grab lunch. A food truck will be parked at the event & other food options available in Downtown Lodi

- The Lodi Arts Foundation will supply Art Hop branded templates & graphics for social media marketing via Canva and will tag artists in posts.

- Artists are responsible for promoting the Art Hop on their social media a minimum of 1x per week leading up to the event and should tag @artslodi on Instagram so that we can share your posts as well.

- The event will be held outdoors and on grass, plan accordingly for weather.

- The Lodi Art Hop is an all-ages event, so please make sure the work you present is appropriate for an all-ages audience.

- Artists are responsible for any art sales and agree to leave sold pieces on display until the end of the event (2p). This does not include prints or other merch.

If you have any questions, please respond to this email or reach out to our Art Hop Coordinator, Bailey Caswell directly at bailey@lodiarts.com. We can't wait to see you out there!
